ACADEMICS AND ADMISSION: BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE PROGRAM
bachelor of science: admission requirements
The admissions process consists of an exchange of information between the applicant and the University.
Successful completion of this exchange, including proof the student has met the University’s admission requirements, will result in an invitation to the student to attend the Bergin University of Canine Studies. In the event that a student cannot produce the appropriate documentation, the student will be refused admission unless they can present a valid case as to why this policy should be waived.
BS degree admission policies require applicants to submit the following:
- Bergin University application and fee;
- Proof of identity;
- An official transcript verifying high school graduation, or the equivalency, such as a GED score;
- An official transcript of any college work attempted;
- Verification of completion of twenty-four (24) general education and electives credits from a USDE-recognized accrediting commission with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA;
- A one-page essay explaining the student’s interest and future goals related to the program of study;
- Two letters of reference - one professional, one personal
