Bailey Atwood graduated from Bergin in 2018 with my associates degree in business and companion dog studies. She started her own dog training business, This and That Dog Training in Maine.
My name is Bailey Atwood. I graduated from Bergin in 2018 with my associates degree in business and companion dog studies. I then traveled back home to Maine. The first few months following graduation, I was able to receive a job at a vet clinic. I then moved to a different part of the state where I got a job at a local kennel and I became the head trainer. This past November, I took the next step of creating my own dog business “This & That Dog Training”. I am really enjoying being able to help clients individually with my business and I am also still running group classes at the kennel where I can help numerous people and dogs at a time. My newest adventure has been to become part of the team at Good Dog! Autism Companions. The cutie in this picture is Good Dog Nala, donated by Project 2 Heal, who I will be training for a little over a year. I am so fortunate for my degree at Bergin as it helped give me the knowledge and skills to be a vet assistant, dog trainer, and the owner of a small business. Bergin helped me figure out who I was and gave me the opportunity to meet lifelong friends, train great dogs, and spread my wings. Thank you all who helped me along the way."
